Sachiko Katori

Sachiko leads AUM's practice for Japanese and Pan-Asian companies pursuing U.S. listings. She is one of a small number of senior bankers in the United States who is both native Japanese and FINRA-licensed for capital markets work (Series 7, 63 and 79).
Over an 18-year career, Sachiko has led cross-border equity transactions, capital markets advisory and financial communications between the U.S., Japan and Asia ex-Japan. She held leadership positions at Nomura Securities International and Daiwa Capital Markets America, and most recently led U.S.-market fundraising for a hydrogen energy company.
Sachiko holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a law degree from Waseda University in Tokyo, and is fluent in Japanese and English. She is based in New York and spends extended periods in Tokyo throughout the year.
